I will suggest you find an Uninstaller software, remove the driver then find the correct driver from the Nvidia website. You can also let the driver utility on the Nvidia website scan your PC to detect the correct driver for you Notebook. I used Nvidias website to detect the correct driver (because im lazy xD) but still i get a black screen D:, ive tried using an uninstaller software and still nothing. A lot of people are having the black screen issues with that particular driver so I'm starting to think MSI does have a specific driver which is what was originally shipped with the Notebook.

I will suggest you go back to the original MSI driver and see if the issue is still there. I had a similar issue with a Sony Vaio months ago and had to revert back to Sony's drivers.
